Terms of Service
Effective July 6, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Subgrove (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Subgrove is a tool for manually tracking your subscriptions and receiving renewal reminders. You enter your own subscription information; the Service does not connect to your bank or payment accounts and does not make payments, cancel subscriptions, or negotiate bills on your behalf. Reminders are provided on a best-effort basis and should not be relied upon as your sole method of managing renewals.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address and be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used unlawfully.
3. Plans, billing, and the “Lifetime” plan
The Service offers a free tier and paid “Pro” plans billed monthly or annually, plus a one-time “Lifetime” plan. Paid recurring plans renew automatically until cancelled and are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. You can cancel a recurring plan at any time; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
What “Lifetime” means. The Lifetime plan is a single payment that grants Pro access for the operational lifetime of the Subgrove service — not the lifetime of any individual. It does not obligate us to operate the Service indefinitely. If we discontinue the Service, Lifetime access ends when the Service ends. We may also modify or retire individual features over time. Should we decide to permanently shut down the Service, we will make reasonable efforts to give Lifetime customers advance notice and, where practical, an export of their data.
4. Refunds
Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@subgrove.com and we will review your request in good faith. Consumers in some jurisdictions may have additional statutory rights that these Terms do not limit.
5. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the subscription information you enter. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to breach its security, access other users’ data, disrupt its operation, scrape it at scale, or use it to violate any law.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that reminders will always be delivered on time or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Subgrove will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any subscription charges you incur, including charges you intended to cancel. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above, and where appropriate we will notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
